VEHICLE RECYCLING
Mantsinen 60 crawler machine lifts scrap cars into a shredder in Italy. This machine has replaced an older Mantsinen 50 machine which had been operating at the same yard for 13 years.
WE RE-DESIGNED SCRAP YARD OPERATIONS OF OVAKO STEEL MILL
Small, yet efficient steel mill has provided to be an excellent partner to Mantsinen as both companies focus on continuous improvement in operations. Our customer has been able to reduce costs in steel handling with the help of Mantsinen. The layout of their yard makes the process reliable and ensures working safety in the Scrapyard. The machine, operated 55,000+ hours, is part of the production process. There has been no disruptions in production due to the availability of the machine during the past ten years.
SCRAP HANDLING AT THE COMMERCIAL SEA PORT IN RUSSIA
Mantsinen 200 material handling machine with rail undercarriage is handling scrap with Mantsinen 6 m3 orange peel.
INCREASING FLEXIBILITY AND EFFICIENCY
The main role of this Mantsinen 160 material handler is to discharge barges quickly and easily. Another task for the machine is to pile up scrap before the vessel arrives. Unloading is now much quicker, and instead of discharging two barges a day the customer can now discharge four barges a day.
