Our customer has been able to reduce costs in steel handling with the help of Mantsinen. The layout of the yard makes their process reliable and ensures working safety in the scrapyard. The machine, operated 55,000+ hours, is part of the production process. There has been no disruptions in production due to the availability of the machine during the past ten years.

The main role of this Mantsinen 160 material handler is to discharge barges quickly and easily. Another task for the machine is to pile up scrap before the vessel arrives. Unloading is now much quicker, and instead of discharging two barges a day the customer can now discharge four barges a day.
