Automatic Quick Coupler
The Mantsinen Automatic Quick Coupler increases efficiency and safety.
Mantsinen Machine Inspection
Mantsinen Machine Inspection is an expert service provided by the Mantsinen factory service team.
It is an excellent way to ensure the machine’s safe and efficient operation for its full life cycle. The inspection consists of a thorough examination of the machine data and a physical inspection of the machine, which includes visual inspections, operational testing, measurements of hydraulic functionality and the machine’s operational clearances.
The Mantsinen Machine Inspection is available for any Mantsinen Material Handler and it is recommended for machines that are older than three years, or have over 10,000 operating hours.
Mantsinen Tag Access
Mantsinen Tag Access is a solution for identifying the operator of the machine, integrated to Mantsinen Machine Control System.
This innovation enhances security, safety and increasing efficiency in material handler operations by ensuring that only authorized personnel can operate the equipment.
Access Control Integration: Easy management of operator permissions and real-time monitoring of material handler usage.
Data Logging & Reporting: Automatically log operation, including operator ID, time of use, providing valuable insights for performance analysis and compliance with safety regulations.
Tag Access is designed to work with all Mantsinen machines models. The system is easy to install and can be fitter to existing fleets without significant downtime (2018 models and later).
STANDBY AC & HEATING
Reduce operating costs and maximize the comfort with this auxiliary AC & Heating unit.
With the Standby AC and Heating option, you can shut down the engine during breaks while keeping your cabin comfortably cool or heated.
In addition to enhancing operator comfort, this feature significantly reduces operating costs by lowering idling hours, decreasing fuel consumption, and extending the time before scheduled engine maintenance.
Advanced Control System
Modern material handling machines require an intelligent control system, which acts as the brains behind the machine.
The intelligent Mantsinen Control System allows advanced and customer specific solutions. The system is effortless and easy to use, and it displays easy to understand information on a screen.
The control system enables optimizing of the machine functions, for example adjusting the boom and stick or attachment speed and feel. The intelligence also enables remote diagnostics and repairs of the machines.
It conveys information seamlessly to the Mantsinen Insight telematics system, which allows for monitoring of the machine performance and efficiency regardless of the time and place.
Cleaning Station
Mantsinen Cleaning Station is specially designed for the automatic cleaning of wood trucks from tree bark and other similar debris.
It consists of two powerful fans, whose targeted sweeping blowing guarantees an optimal cleaning result, even for casing structure.
The equipment is in containers that are placed on both sides of the road at the woodyard. The radar detects an approaching truck, and the equipment starts automatically removing the debris safely and easily.
Semi-Automatic
Operation
Mantsinen Semi-Automatic Operation is an optional feature designed to make day-to-day material handling easier and safer.
It assists the operator with fast repeated work cycles and is especially beneficial when operating in confined spaces or when there are interfering obstacles.
Utilizing the feature is simple: the operator enters the work path with up to 10 path points. An intelligent Mantsinen Control System with its precise sensors, ensures safe semi-automatic operation.
Dust Suppression
Dust suppression is an extremely useful function in applications where fine particles or dust are present – for example scrap handling.
The dust suppression function sprays a mist of water during the operation of the grab and prevents the dust from coming out of the materials. This function can be adjusted in multiple ways to accommodate various material handling needs.
MORE INTELLIGENT
MATERIAL HANDLING
Heavylift
The Heavylift function has been designed to aid with lifting heavy loads that are close to the maximum capacity of the machine.
Heavylift mode enhances the lifting capacity of the machine by approximately 1–5 tons, depending on the model of the machine and the reach of the boom. When this function is activated, the machine’s slow operation mode is engaged simultaneously.
Vertical Lift
The vertical lift assist has been developed especially for container, steel coil, and sawn timber handling.
When the assist is active, the main boom movement automatically controls the stick movement and keeps it straight vertically without the operator needing to perform any adjustments optimizing the attachment to be lifted straight up.
This feature helps for example with container handling
when they are lifted out of tight spots.
Automatic Clamshell Levelling
The automatic clamshell levelling enables the operator to automatically lift the boom and stick while closing the bucket.
This feature minimizes the contact and strain that is applied to the attachment and the bottom of the vessel while unloading materials.
The large machines can have boom and stick combinations that weight up to 40 Tons (88,000 LBS), with majority of the weight being applied on top of the attachment. This is why it is important to avoid excessive pressure from the attachment to the ground or bottom of the vessel.
This function has been developed as an intelligent internal feature of the control system, so there is no need for additional hydraulic systems to be installed. This function can be retro fitted on to machines that have been delivered in 2017 or later.
Container Spread Control
The container spreader control includes a function to control the spreader beam locks, lights, etc. We offer various attachments for container handling ranging from fixed 20’ to adjustable 40’ container spreaders.
Work Cycle Counter
The work cycle counter is a feature that keeps track of the actual usage of the machine and the operator can calculate the productivity of the machine and estimate the future productivity figures together with the information in the Mantsinen Insight system.
Load Tracking Interface
By adding a load tracking interface onto the material handling machine the operator can accurately monitor their flow of materials. All of the Mantsinen material handlers can be equipped with commercially approved scales, and the measurement information can be shared across the customer’s systems as well.
Attachment Safety Opening
Some attachments and predetermined machine functions require an additional safety feature where the attachment cannot be opened or released in the middle of the work cycle. In some attachments this is a standard feature, such as the container spreaders and the steel coil clamps.
Man Lift
The optional “person lift mode” provides a safe way to temporarily lift people into and out of the ship’s hull. Use of this feature is subject to approval by local inspection authorities. Mantsinen also supplies reinforced man cages for this use.
Camera Systems
Camera systems are a vital option when working on large vessels, railcars, or even hoppers. Our machines can be equipped with sturdy and adaptable cameras. If needed, the feed can be saved or transmitted to the customer’s internal systems.
Attachment Line Filtering
The attachments are under a lot of stress in demanding applications. In case a cylinder on the attachment fails, the damage it can cause will be extensive and the downtime can potentially be long. Additional attachment hydraulic line filters prevent small particles from flowing back into the machine’s hydraulic control system.
