Changes in Mantsinen Board of Directors

There have been changes Mantsinen Group Ltd Oy’s Board of Directors. The Annual General Meeting on 21 February 2020 has selected Olli Isotalo as the new Chair of the Board of Mantsinen Group and Mikko Mantsinen as the new Vice Chair of the Board.

Olli Isotalo is currently CEO of Neles Oyj, a globally recognized valve and valve automation company. His past positions include operating as Patria’s CEO, and he has made a long career at Cargotec, responsible for heading their Kalmar and MacGregor businesses. Olli has a Master’s degree in engineering and brings his strong experience in the development of manufacturing businesses, as well as of the international investment and services business to the Board of Directors of Mantsinen Group.

The second independent member of the board of the family-owned business is Timo Huttunen. Timo is an entrepreneur and CEO of Lännen MCE Group. Lännen MCE manufactures multifunctional machinery for infrastructure construction, and for buildings and water supply maintenance (Lännen, Lundberg, Watermaster), and imports Ljungby wheel loaders. Timo has degrees in Law and Engineering, and has extensive experience of the manufacturing industry and of developing international growth.

Of the owners, Mikko Mantsinen, Mervi Mantsinen, Meeri Juutilainen and Mia Mantsinen will continue as members of the Board of Directors. Of the board members, Mia Mantsinen is the Group’s CEO and Mikko Mantsinen is the Fleet manager. Mervi Mantsinen and Meeri Juutilainen both work outside the Group.

Mantsinen Group wishes to express its thanks to the previous Chair of the Board, Christer Granskog, for his valuable work during the company’s growth and transformation phase, and hopes that he enjoys his well-earned years of retirement. Christer joined the Board of Directors of Mantsinen in 2015 and has supported the strong growth in the company’s net sales, the change of CEO, and the implementation of the company’s generational change during the past years.
